Jupiter Star On December - 14 - 2010

Hello everyone! Jupiter Star here, with some important news!

First of all, I’d like to thank Rex for all of his hard work on getting the site up and running again. It looks great and hopefully will be easier for me to keep you all updated on everything Jupiter Star-related, not to mention for you all to navigate!

Now then, some information; at 7:30pm on Thursday, December 16th, 2010, I will be performing a short set at the Swallow Hill Tuft Theater’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Concert. The concert is hosted and Emcee’d by John Paul Sharp and will feature several different acts, of which I’m one, performing original and classic holiday songs in the spirit of laughing ourselves silly. Not only will I be performing a new, unheard original song, and two covers, but this will also be the first place where you can buy the CD version of the Crash Landed EP! I’ll have several copies for sale, as well as posters, and you can pre-order your copy of Awankenings and/or donate for your copy of the live concert CD from Glasgow or “50,000 Words”. So come along and share the fun!

In other news, my first interview with The Social Engine podcast is this Friday, December 17th, 2010, during the first half of the show. I was also recently featured on The Undercover Unitards as their musical break for episode 41; be sure to check both of these shows out, they’re a ton of fun and a great listen!

I’m also working on my plans for 2011. On the list so far are more podcasts, getting Crash Landed on iTunes, Amazon,  and more, getting the store set up for anyone who wants t-shirts, posters, and CDs, and most importantly, finishing up Awakenings! How that last one is going to proceed is a bit up in the air right now, but I’ve got contigency plans in place and I can promise all of you a full album, complete with newer versions of some of the EP songs, by this time next year!

That’s it for now,  I think! Keep an eye on the website for updates in the coming months as I add on the store, update the music and photo pages, get up the writing and fan pages, and add an information and concert dates section as well.

This is Jupiter Star, signing off!
